When we had the bath uncovered, the water could only heat to mid-50's degrees. When we put a sheet of foam over the top, the temperature was able to increase the rest of the way to 69. The controls responded as expected to user input and the displays are clear and bright. The timer counted down and switched the unit off at the end of a run. No other testing was done.
